Volunteering at the Friary

The Friary on Musters Road in West Bridgford assists local disadvantaged people who are homeless, living in temporary accommodation or experiencing long term unemployment.
We offer a range of support including information and advice, hot nutritious meals, shower and laundry facilities and clothes parcels.
Volunteering opportunities range from helping to serve food and drink on the coffee bar to working on our allotment site.
PAT Testing Volunteer:
We are looking for someone who may have skills as an electrician to PAT test all our donations of electrical equipment. It is important to us that we ensure all the equipment is safe prior to it being donated to service users and the PAT testing process is foundational to this. The volunteer would be based at the donations depot at Ludlow Hill on a Tuesday and/or Thursday between 10am and 3pm.
