Bingham Market Day on Thursday 7 October , there will be a GIVING STALL under the Buttercross, where donations for some of those hardest hit during the Covid Pandemic will be collected.
The Vale of Belvoir Rotary Club will be repeating last year’s successful “giving stall” on behalf of The Friary who deal with homeless problems in Rushcliffe and Cotgrave-based Tara’s Angels who support families in refuges
Gordon Marsh, this year’s President of the Vale of Belvoir Rotary Club said
“As we cautiously move back to getting together with friends and families we are aware of the hardship and difficulties that are being faced by individuals who are struggling to pay their rent and have been forced into homelessness and women who have been subject to domestic violence and escaped, with their children, into temporary accommodation. Both groups have been left with little and at Bingham Market we are hoping that you will be able to help by donating gifts”
The donations that will be of most help are baby wipes, nappies, sanitary products, unopened toiletries, tinned food (beans, peas spaghetti etc), rice, pasta, Juice and canned drinks, colouring books, crayons and felt tips, male deodorant, Joggers Medium size, Trainers men’s most popular sizes 8, 9. &10, Men’s Boxer shorts medium size (new)
Ladies Pants (new), Ruck-sacks, 1 man tent, Gloves, Tin Openers, Saucepans, Frying Pans
