The Friary Walk For Homelessness will take place on Thursday 12th February. We will meet at the Friary Drop-In Centre for hot drinks from 5:30pm, and we will start the walk at 6pm. During the circular route, we will take group photos at these iconic Nottingham landmarks:
- Trent Bridge
- Meadow Lane Lock
- British Waterways building
- Robin Hood Statue and Nottingham Castle
- Queen’s Walk Recreation Ground
- Wilford Toll Bridge
- Nottingham War Memorial Gardens
This mostly flat route is around 5 miles long and will take approximately 2 hours to complete. Hot drinks will be served before and after. Bring your glow sticks, torches and fairy lights – some will be available if you don’t have any.
To take part, we’re asking for a donation to our JustGiving page to support the Friary Drop-In Centre’s services for homeless and vulnerable adults in the community.
